Nokia N95 is one of the most anticipated phones in 2007. Initially, plans were in place to launch it in the first quarter of 2007, now the little birdie says that it will only be released in Q2 2007. The fans have refused to get disappointed as the number of features N95 sports, any delay is accepted with equanimity. Take a sneak peek – you will be able to connect to mobile Broadband using WLAN or HSDPA (3.5G) with up to 10 times faster downloading than 3G, or integrated GPS and software containing maps for more than 100 countries!!

There is lot more to come. One of the significant advancement from the earlier Nokia N series phones is the 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics. Not only this, you an also capture DVD quality video at 30 fps.

The phone design is a unique two-way slider, which shows you the usual keypad if you move the screen up, and shows multimedia control keys when you move it down. These multimedia keys can also be used to browse the web because they help in navigation in the landscape mode.

With an internal memory of 160 MB, you will not have any problem in storing all your favourite songs for the excellent media player, to which we will come later, or your favourite photographs and videos, taken from the 5 MP camera. If you need additional memory, you can always depend on hot swappable microSD cards for an additional 2GB space.

This Symbian S60 device supports all the latest connectivity buzzwords as well. You name it and its here. Other than being a HSDPA 3G phone and supporting WLAN and Wi-fi, it features Quad-band GSM, EDGE and GPRS as well, not to mention, stereo Bluetooth, infra-red port and USB support.

The verdict is out even before the phone is launched, Nokia N95 is a superhit already! Now, Nokia better release it soon, or the patience of the loyal fans is sure to wane out.
